Kuala, which means "confluence" in the Malay language, is a set of tools to facilitate the development of agent-based computational models.
Kuala is not a full-fledged modeling toolkit itself. Rather, it is designed to complement existing toolkits such as MASON and Repast by providing additional functionality that brings together the various parts of the modeling lifecycle, from design to implementation, testing, experimention, and data analysis. The project grew out of the original author's dissertation research, and remains a work in progress.
